You can use Free Autoresponders.

by Jeff Shemin

Can you use a free autoresponder? You might be thinking in that direction if you have been out looking around the internet for a good yet reasonably priced autoresponder. If you are beginning in this field, you may decide not to spend anything on that for the time being. Obviously with a free autoresponder you won't get the same features as you would with a premium service subscription. If you have a choice between using something for free, or not having it at all, well then why wouldn't you use the free autoresponder?

The first thing you should try to use are the free autoresponders that usually come with any webhosting accounts. The webhosting service is the location of your domain. You could just sign into your webhosting account using the conrol panel and set your autoresponder series there. With an autoresponder account of your own, ads won't pop up if you transmit a message. Perhaps you won't have access to a free responder because you lack a webhosting account, or have one that doesn't provide autoresponding. Don't get concerned if that situation arises because you can choose other places.

Go to Google or Yahoo or use any search engine that you like. To find a business that offers this service at no cost, search online for 'free autoresponder.' You can get this service for free because advertising will be sent out along with the message, and the company makes money that way. Based on the company you use , the small add they attach would be present on the top or bottom of the message, everytime you send it.

Initially, you could notice that insignificant ads on your e-mails will not bother anyone. However, if these small ads that are attached to each and every message that you want your potential client to receive have advertising blurbs that compete with what you're selling, then you might not want this. Although the product may not directly compete with you, future clients might find the ad unprofessional.

Some of the autoresponders that you have to pay for may offer a free service with limited use. It is wise to look into these also. The free version of an autoresponder you can add the advertisements might not do as well, so it is good to ask in advance if this is a concern of yours. Obviously a free autoresponder offering won't deliver the same features as one you pay for. Free Autoresponder is a great alternative at a lower cost and you can always upgrade when you want the advanced options.

Free autoresponders often place a cap on how many subscribers your company can have for its mailings. If you are just starting out this is not such a bad thing, for when you get to the limit you just upgrade to the paid version and all your information is transferred. Looking at it from a purely business sense, this does not seem such a bad thing. make a profit before you have to expend more money.

Because you alone own your business, you alone can determine your needs and your time frame. Sit back and look at the big picture, your objectives and roadmap before making all these important choices. In case you do not posess a list or it is very small, then a free autoresponder must do all that you want it to do. It is when your list grows that you will need to consider upgrading. Its your business and you must decide, paid or free?
